SleepAngel upgrades to PrimaLoft® Bio™ fibre

PrimaLoft® Bio™ fibres have been specifically developed to return to materials found in nature, in an effort to reduce the environmental impact of microfibers throughout their life.

SleepAngel changed from standard microfiber to PrimaLoft® Bio in 2022 Q1 to reduce the long-term impact of microplastics in our oceans, landfills, and waterways.

Sven Jürisoo, founder of SleepAngel / Gabriel Scientific : “SleepAngel bedding products have unique barrier features, that increases utilisation time, reduce water waste (no laundry), and now with PrimaLoft® Bio™, we take another important step in lifecycle responsibility and further sustainability”.

PrimaLoft® Bio™ brings a new approach to sustainability without compromising our industry-leading performance and comfort throughout the life cycle of the product. This innovation lies within the makeup of the fibre.

How does it work? Biodegradable* fibres.

Appetizing fibers - PrimaLoft® Bio™ fibers break down at a highly accelerated rate in landfills, oceans and wastewater because we’ve optimized them to be more appetizing to the naturally occurring microbes in these specific environments.

Left behind - these microbes enable synthetic insulation and fabric to return to materials found in nature, leaving behind components like water, CO2, methane, biomass, and humus – a common, natural component of potting soil.

SleepAngel products are filled with PrimaLoft® Bio  filling as of March 2022. Please consult with the reseller if the stock is with standard fibre or PrimaLoft® Bio .
