NASA technology and medical innovation join forces

Through the tough times the industry has faced in recent months, stories of collaboration have been the ones that have reverberated most positively through the cruise community. At Cruise Ship Interiors Expo Europe, we believe that collaboration is key to success. As such, we’d like to highlight some stories of collaboration between our exhibitors; how they’ve come together over the past few months to better their service, to provide cruise lines with unified products, and to experience the benefits of working together. We start with SleepAngel and Room to Breathe, two Health & Hygiene Zone exhibitors who have come together to strengthen both of their services and improve guest and staff safety.

NASA technology and medical innovation join forces to offer the highest levels of hygiene and cleanliness for hospitality

The concept of Room to Breathe is to provide safe, clean, indoor environments for those who suffer from hypersensitivity or for those among us who want the comfort of absolute protection against the dangers of viruses, toxins, pathogens and microbes. Room to Breathe can provide customers with a non-toxic, environmentally-friendly cleaning solution that removes up to 99.99% of Coronaviruses, including COVID-19, influenza, germs, VOC’s, moulds and allergens.

SleepAngel barrier bedding – a revolutionary textile innovation – is now also part of their product offering to secure peace of mind for guests and hoteliers. SleepAngel PneumaPure filtered soft surfaces are virus, pathogen, mould and liquid proof and can be cleaned (disinfected) as hard surfaces, thus further improving possibilities to reduce contaminated areas in the facilities.

Sven Jürisoo, founder and CEO of SleepAngel, said:

“Room to Breathe and SleepAngel cooperation is a synergy. It combines scientifically proven methods and products to create clean and risk-free environments for people with allergies, facilities aiming to stop cross-infection, for all of us adapting to new normal of Covid-19.”

Gordon Bruce, Director and Founder of Room to Breathe said:

“Having the opportunity to partner with SleepAngel allows us to further extend the protection we can provide for everyone. Working symbiotically, our products and technology combined can ultimately futureproof any environment and provide protection from any virus, allergen or pathogen in this brave new world during the COVID-19 pandemic and beyond.”
